Male U.A. Specimen Collector Full-time at 2 Watch Monitoring Inc – Tacoma, Washington

2 Watch Monitoring is a preferred service provider for the State of Washington for alternative incarceration services, including monitoring and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is primarily focused on the collection, processing, and shipping of specimens. As a 2 Watch Monitoring representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to clients, customers and our laboratory partners.

· Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory for this position.

· Completes random and scheduled observed urine collections of same sex clients.

· Collect Urine specimens for drug screenings

· Collect mouth swab/oral fluid (saliva) specimens

· Ensure seal and accurate labeling of specimens to maintain viability and quality analysis

· Maintain records of each specimen collected

· Package specimens for transport and ship to lab.

· Perform with confidence all aspects of the testing, including specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures

· Maintain a safe and professional environment for clients and employees.

· Remain polite and courteous, communicating appropriately with clients.

· Demonstrates organizational commitment

· Maintain confidentiality

· Adhere to company attendance guidelines

· Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be comfortable handling biological specimens.

Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions

Working at a fast pace with the ability to multi-task

Ability to concentrate on the task at hand

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Demonstrates good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills;

Ability to manage concerns of customers in a professional manner

Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment

Bilingual in Spanish or Russian a plus

Physical Requirements:

Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs)

Repetitive motions and/or prolonged computer use
