POSITION SUMMARY:

Rent apartments by handling all rental inquiries, using company approved sales techniques, and materials. Must maintain minimum closing ratio of 70% or higher. Maintain rental records and assist in other areas as directed by supervisor. Assist Community Manager or Manager in property marketing programs and supports Community Manager with on the job training efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education /Background:

• Customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Driver’s License required with reliable auto insurance

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
