About the Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor at Lakeside Central Apartments plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. This position is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency response, to provide residents with a comfortable living environment. The supervisor will lead a team of maintenance staff, coordinating their activities and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Additionally, the role involves managing budgets, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.HVAC certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in facilities management or a related field.
- Experience with property management software and maintenance tracking systems.
- Previous experience in a residential property management setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage maintenance requests from residents, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering new materials as needed to support ongoing operations.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices.
