Job Description

Position Description: Sanitation Supervisor

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

Interacts With: Production Supervisors, Quality Control Manager, Maintenance Manager, R&D Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for enforcing company rules and regulations per the Handbook guidelines.
  • Responsible for maintaining Food Safety procedures with the production team members.
  • Support the compliance with, and maintenance of, all food safety and regulatory programs
  • Responsible for insuring the quality, food safety and consistency of all NF&B foods products
  • Responsible for maintaining all safety related initiatives including, but not limited to, safety programs and incentives
  • Responsible for insuring the quality, food safety and consistency of all NF&B Foods products
  • Basic understanding of HACCP Principles for CCP controls
  • Clearing work area and putting away materials at the end of shift
  • Understanding of appropriate SDS for job related chemicals
  • Knowledge of disassembly and re-assembly of required equipment
  • Ability to learn to operate required equipment such as floor scrubber
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
  • The daily cleaning of all operational equipment areas, parts and facility as required
  • Appropriate and safe use of cleaning chemicals required for cleaning processes
  • Proficient in the use of appropriate safety equipment
  • Understanding of appropriate sanitation techniques and processes
  • Proficient in written SSOP’s for each cleaning process
  • Meet required expectations of company sanitation requirements
  • Care and maintenance of all sanitation equipment
  • Perform and complete all sanitation functions in the time allotted to allow for proper production running
  • Responsible for completion of all company documentation including but not limited to: Chemical reports, Inventory reports, injury/illness reports.

  • Shift: Third Shift
  • Work Week: Full Time - 40 hours or more per week
  • Duration: Regular
  • Minimum Experience and Education: High School Diploma/GED or 6 Months Food & Beverage Industry Experience or relatable experience.
  • Language: Must Speak, Read and Write English-Fluently and Spanish
