WHAT DOES A GARAGE DOOR TECH DO?
The Garage Door Service Technician is the primary service provider for garage doors and garage door openers. Most work is done on existing garage doors and opener systems. Work assignments are received from the Dispatch Center and forwarded directly to your assigned directly to you through our mobile application system. Your team leader will help you through the process of understanding the application as well as communicating job details. You will also assist with new installations in order to gain more understanding of how different garage door systems work.
SERVICE TECHNICIAN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Record keeping for customer billing
- Time Tracking for compensation (through our company app)
- Maintaining service vehicles and equipment
- Product education and training
- Safety training
- Housekeeping at the warehouse and shop
- Job-site housekeeping
- Miscellaneous duties as required by your Team Leader (TL)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
We at Shamrock OHD strongly believe in personal goals and development. It's simple, the more experienced you either have or are gaining, the more you will be rewarded! We have 2 amazing types of payscale systems you will be compensated by!
- BASE PAY COMPENSATION: Ranges from 15-30 Per Hour depending on experience.
- REWARDS & BONUSES: This is a favorite among the team! We use our own designed Application where you can earn extra cash either, on the job or during your leisurely time. This easy to use, highly motivating program is in your control of how much extra $$$ you would like to earn while gaining knowledgeable information!
Requirements:
- MUST have a positive mind set
- MUST be willing to learn and conquer obstacles
- MUST WANT to scale the ladder of success
- MUST be able to lift between 75-100lbs
- MUST Be a team player with strong work ethics & positive attitude
- MUST be able to Climb ladders
- MUST possess a valid driver's license w/ a clean driving record
- Mechanical or Carpentry experience (preferred)
- Basic Knowledge of power and hand tools
- Previous garage door installation is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and (physical exam if required)
- Must NOT Abuse drugs & Alcohol
