About Us:
Sun Recycling's Materials Collection Facility is a facility specialized in receiving, separating, and preparing recyclable materials for sale to end-use factories. Established in October 2013, it is conveniently located in Beltsville, Maryland. Sun Recycling specializes in LEED projects. We operate as a zero-landfill facility and provide LEED credits to our customers. Who are we looking for?
An experienced Tractor Trailer Driver with Walking Floor and Dump Trailers that prioritizes safety and time management. A hard-working candidate that is seeking full time employment.
Minimum Requirements:
A Road Tractor Driver must have the following:
Valid CDL Class A in good standing
Current DOT Medical Card
Minimum of 3 Years of Road Tractor experience
Walking Floor Experience Required
About the position:
A Road Tractor Driver is responsible for the following:
Provide excellent customer service
Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Regulations
Follow traffic patterns
Follow flagger directions at a dump site
Maintain communication with the Road Tractor Supervisor
Upkeep the general cleanliness of the vehicles you operate
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Individual must have the consistent ability to:
Skillfully and safely operate a Road Tractor
Attach, Remove and Tarp Trailers Safely
Drive attentively, and safely their entire shift
Communicate well with others
Strategically solve problems
Perform light administrative duties (paperwork)
Maintain continuous awareness of surroundings
Work in a fast-paced environment
Adhere to the safety protocols and procedures
