1st Shift Sanitation Worker in Perry, New York at CREATIVE FOOD INGREDIENTS INC

• General cleaning duties: This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping off, hosing down, use of compressed air, vacuuming, and laundry
• Ability to follow set sanitation procedures, schedules and document accordingly
• May be required to fill in for other sanitation personnel due to vacations, absences, etc
• May be required to assist in production whenever requested by supervisor
• Will be required to be a member of Blood-Bourne Pathogen team
• Ability to read instructions and follow all safety procedures/MSDS Sheets when working with cleaning chemicals
• Other duties include; cleaning sinks throughout facility, collecting/dumping garbage from restrooms and offices, restocking soap and paper towel dispensers and weekly cleaning of wash pits
• Weekly inspection of rodent traps
• Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen and disposal of trash
• Keeps storage shelves and stockrooms clean, organized with items properly stored and rotated when deliveries are made
