Job SummaryGreenawalt Hospitality is seeking energetic and dependable Event Beverage Bartenders to join our growing hospitality team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service at concerts, festivals, sporting events, weddings, private functions, and premium hospitality experiences throughout Alabama.
Event Beverage Bartenders are key members of our event operations team, providing professional beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences. Whether serving craft cocktails in a VIP area or pouring beer at a major festival, you'll help ensure every guest receives outstanding hospitality from start to finish.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Beverage Service- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and local regulations
- Verify guest identification and practice responsible alcohol service
- Maintain beverage quality, consistency, and presentation throughout each event
- Accurately prepare guest orders while delivering friendly, efficient service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area throughout the event
- Assist with setting up, stocking, and organizing bar stations before each event
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish products, ice, garnishes, and supplies as needed
- Support beverage distribution and ensure bar areas remain operational throughout service
- Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and proper storage of equipment and supplies
- Deliver outstanding hospitality and customer service to guests
- Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere while maintaining efficiency during busy service periods
- Answer guest questions regarding beverages, menu offerings, and event services
- Handle guest concerns professionally while representing Greenawalt Hospitality with excellence
- Work closely with Hospitality Bar Leads, Event Managers, and fellow team members
- Assist with event setup and breakdown beyond beverage operations when needed
- Adapt quickly to changing event needs and operational priorities
- Support the successful execution of concerts, festivals, sporting events, weddings, and private events
- Complete all required company onboarding and training programs
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe Alcohol Certification (company facilitated)
- Follow all company policies, venue requirements, alcohol service regulations, and safety procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, and attention to detail at every event
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules
- Reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds
- Reliable access to phone, text messaging, and email communications
- Previous bartending, restaurant, catering, hospitality, or beverage service experience preferred
- Experience working concerts, festivals, sporting events, weddings, or entertainment venues is a plus
- ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and beverage service procedures
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest service
$12.00 per hour, plus tips and gratuity opportunities.
Travel and mileage reimbursement may be available for select events.
