Kitchen Utility Aide - Full Time in Lynchburg, Virginia at Westminster-Canterbury of Lynchburg

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Kitchen Utility Aide to join our team! Full-time position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.

• Washes all wares including but not limited to: pots, pans, flatware, and glasses both by hand and using commercial dishwashers.
• Correctly places and stores dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stocks serving stations, cabinets, refrigerators, server, and kitchen with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Responsible for taking the trash to appropriate receptacles for disposal.
• Clean and sanitize equipment based on cleaning and routine maintenance schedules and use only approved chemicals and tools.
• Maintain and rotate products to ensure dates have not expired and products are used timely.
• Perform routine food service tasks, under direct supervision of Managers.

• High School Diploma
• Past experience in heavy cleaning of Kitchen Equipment is preferred
• Ability to follow directions, read SDS Sheets, and Understand PPE Equipment
