This is a strategic consulting role focused on helping pharmacy organizations improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term value.
You will work directly with pharmacy leaders and cross-functional teams to turn complex data into practical business recommendations.
The role combines advanced analytics, financial modeling, project management, client consulting, and healthcare industry expertise.
You will support multiple engagements, guide strategic initiatives, and present insights to pharmacy and executive leadership.
Your work will span areas such as purchasing strategy, contracting, 340B and WAC programs, cost management, and operational improvement.
You will also contribute to innovative tools, services, dashboards, and thought leadership that strengthen pharmacy performance.

- Develop innovative, data-driven solutions and program offerings designed to improve pharmacy financial and operational performance across diverse client environments.
- Lead and execute project plans across multiple client engagements, balancing competing priorities and ensuring milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Facilitate client meetings, strategic discussions, project updates, workshops, and presentations with pharmacy and executive stakeholders.
- Perform advanced data analysis, financial modeling, benchmarking, and interpretation of large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Translate complex financial and operational information into clear business insights and recommendations for pharmacy leaders and senior executives.
- Partner with Spend Management, Analytics, Pharmacy Leadership, and other internal teams to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, clinical outcomes, and cost management.
- Analyze and optimize pharmacy purchasing and classes of trade, including 340B and WAC, by evaluating purchasing strategies, contract performance, and applicable regulatory considerations.
- Identify savings opportunities, operational efficiencies, and improvements in purchasing and contracting strategies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify contracting opportunities, support negotiations, and advance value-based agreements aligned with client clinical and financial objectives.
- Develop dashboards, executive presentations, reporting tools, and other resources that communicate financial, operational, and strategic performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, program growth, and broader operational improvement.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and internal partners, encouraging knowledge sharing and effective implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of new tools, services, methodologies, and intellectual capital that advance pharmacy business performance.
- Apply structured project management practices to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively planned, executed, monitored, and delivered.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in pharmacy operations, pharmacy business management, group purchasing organizations, healthcare consulting, or a closely related healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong expertise in data analytics, financial modeling, benchmarking, and analysis of large and complex datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial and operational information and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience presenting complex business, financial, and operational insights to pharmacy leaders, executives, and other senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers, internal partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to identify opportunities for financial improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivery quality.
- Familiarity with pharmacy purchasing, contracting, 340B, WAC, or related healthcare financial and regulatory concepts is highly valuable.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly and respond flexibly to client needs and timelines.
- Estimated salary range of $88,900–$155,500 USD, with compensation determined based on skills, experience, organizational needs, and geographic factors.
