About the role

• We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with technical support experience in a hardware/software environment, excellent communication skills and who can work effectively independently and in a team environment.

What you'll do

• Assist Engineering department to conduct hardware/product validation
• Develop test procedures for new product development
• Test initial prototypes and other special handling activities
• Support Production Test and Marketing departments
• Troubleshoot hardware and software components
• Perform firmware verification testing
• Create custom application-specific configurations for customers by having a clear understanding of product features

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of technical support experience in a hardware and software environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in technical reporting and customer interaction
• Work well independently and in team environments
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as J1939, CANopen, LIN, Ethernet is considered an asset
