Location: Chiefland, FL

Compensation & Bonuses:

  • Unlicensed: $24.46/hr (+ $5,000 community-based additive)
  • Licensed: $66K-$71K+ (based on experience)
  • Sign-On Bonuses: $3,000-$5,000 after 30 days for select outpatient programs
  • Free Qualified Supervision toward LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC licensure

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping individuals and families through some of life's most challenging moments? As a Clinician with the Mobile Response Team, you will provide compassionate, immediate mental health crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance use crises. This rewarding role allows you to make a direct impact in the community by helping people regain stability, connect with vital resources, and begin their path toward healing and recovery.

Working collaboratively with schools, law enforcement, healthcare providers, families, and community partners, you will serve as a critical source of support and hope when it is needed most.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to behavioral health crises and provide timely mobile crisis intervention services.
  • Conduct mental health, substance use, and risk assessments.
  • Develop safety plans and coordinate appropriate follow-up services.
  • Provide crisis counseling and support to individuals and families.
  • Facilitate warm handoffs to community resources and treatment providers.
  • Collaborate with schools, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and other community partners.
  • Assist clients with accessing services and navigating the behavioral healthcare system.
  • Provide support through telehealth and telecommunications platforms as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours crisis response services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
  • Support community outreach efforts focused on crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and behavioral health awareness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Two (2) years of mental health counseling, crisis intervention, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Florida licensure in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must meet agency insurance requirements and be at least 21 years of age to qualify as a Center Driver.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of crisis intervention principles, behavioral health treatment, and suicide prevention practices.
  • Ability to assess risk, develop safety plans, and intervene effectively during crisis situations.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with community partners, schools, law enforcement, and healthcare providers.
  • Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to providing person-centered, trauma-informed care that promotes recovery, resilience, and hope.
