Concierge/Front Desk Security in Washington, District of Columbia at Valentis Group Inc

Location: Washington DC/Community Housing Position Type: Concierge (Full-Time 40hrs) Pay Rate: $19.00/hr $20.00/hr after 90 days Shifts: 0700-1500 1500-2300 2300-0700 Must be willing to work WEEKENDS and VARIOUS SHIFTS. QUALIFICATIONS -A minimum educational level of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. -Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments, and write effective, concise, and legible reports. RESPONSIBILITIES - Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments. - Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations. - Schedule appointments and maintain Visitor Logs electronically. - Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine. - Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
