Landscape Foreman in Berwyn, Pennsylvania at Doyle & McDonnell, Inc

Doyle & McDonnell, Inc. is looking for an experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping crews in Berwyn, PA. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for organizing the day's work, directing the crew, and making sure projects are completed safely and to a high standard.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of an assigned landscape crew
• Assign tasks and keep the crew organized throughout the workday
• Make sure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards
• Work alongside crew members and provide direction and hands-on assistance as needed
• Perform and oversee landscape maintenance, planting, pruning, mulching, edging, cleanup, and related work
• Assist with landscape installation, drainage, low-voltage lighting, and seasonal projects
• Operate landscaping tools, power equipment, and vehicles as appropriate
• Monitor jobsite conditions, materials, tools, and equipment
• Communicate project needs, progress, and issues with management
• Help train and develop less-experienced crew members
• Represent Doyle & McDonnell professionally while working on client properties

What We're Looking For

• Previous professional landscaping experience
• Experience leading or supervising a landscape crew
• Ability to organize work and keep a crew productive
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to lead by example
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
• Valid driver's license or photo ID and reliable transportation

Schedule & Pay

$20–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
• Early start and early finish
• Optional Saturday work available
• Overtime available at time-and-a-half
• Paid weekly with direct deposit available
