Assistant Store Manager – Quick Service Restaurant
Are you a hands-on leader passionate about customer service, team development, and operational excellence? A renowned quick-service company is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, strengthen team performance, and help create an exceptional experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving established sales, service, and performance goals.
- Deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Lead store operations in the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring established standards and procedures are followed.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and supervising team members.
- Provide employees with clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing follow-up.
- Identify and develop high-potential employees for future growth opportunities within the company.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Monitor store performance and support initiatives to increase sales, manage expenses, and protect company assets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly, professionally, and with a service-oriented approach.
- Communicate staffing, inventory, maintenance, and operational needs to the Store Manager.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and bank deposits.
- Remain actively involved in store operations, including order-taking, beverage preparation, cleaning, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Assistant Manager or in a comparable supervisory role, preferably within a quick-service restaurant, coffee shop, fast-food, or casual-dining environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate employees.
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and management.
- Responsible, dependable, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow professionally.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.
Required Availability
Candidates must have full availability to work rotating schedules between 5:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.

Additional Employment Information
This position includes a six-month probationary period.
