We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Order Management Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that support end-to-end commerce operations. In this role, you will work across the complete order lifecycle, including order processing, fulfilment, inventory management, payments, returns, and refunds. You will leverage Salesforce technologies, custom development, and enterprise integrations to deliver reliable, efficient, and secure order management capabilities. Working with cross-functional teams, architects, business stakeholders, and external partners, you will help connect commerce platforms and operational systems seamlessly. You will also contribute to production support, integration performance, and continuous technical improvement. This remote opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Salesforce developer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and building robust enterprise commerce solutions.

Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce applications and custom solutions that support order management and commerce operations.

  • Implement and manage Salesforce Order Management connectors, payment gateway adapters, and integrations with external systems.

  • Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Platform Events, and asynchronous processing.

  • Build and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations across eCommerce, point-of-sale (POS), warehouse management (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), tax, payment, and logistics platforms.

  • Implement and support end-to-end order lifecycle processes, including order capture, fulfilment, inventory updates, returns, refunds, and payment processing.

  • Perform data modelling, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation to maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, queues, and access controls.

  • Write and maintain unit tests, debug Apex code, monitor integrations, and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Support production deployments, incident resolution, ongoing maintenance, and the reliability of business-critical applications.

  • Manage source control and deployment processes using Git, Salesforce CLI, DevOps Center, change sets, or equivalent CI/CD tools.

  • Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, testers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver dependable technical solutions.

  • Identify and implement improvements to integration reliability, system performance, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

  • Support the configuration or development of Salesforce Agentforce actions for AI-assisted order-related tasks, where applicable.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, including hands-on experience with Salesforce Order Management or comparable commerce and order management platforms.

  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Platform Events, and asynchronous processing.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing Order Management System (OMS) connectors and payment gateway integrations.

  • Strong understanding of order processing, fulfilment, inventory management, returns, refunds, and payment workflows.

  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining REST and SOAP API integrations across enterprise commerce systems.

  • Good knowledge of Salesforce data modelling, security configuration, environment management, and development best practices.

  • Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI, and modern deployment processes, including CI/CD workflows.

  • Strong debugging, testing, integration monitoring, and production support skills.

  • Experience with data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and data quality management.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote, cross-functional environment.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement.

  • Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce and AI-driven automation is an advantage.

Benefits
  • Annual salary: INR 10,00,000–25,00,000 (10–25 LPA).

  • Work arrangement: Remote, within India.

  • Employment type: Full-time.

  • Additional benefits, such as healthcare coverage, paid leave, equipment allowances, and professional development support, were not specified and should be confirmed during the hiring process.
