What you will do

Wash, cut, measure, and portion ingredients according to the restaurant’s recipes and prep lists.

Prepare sauces, dressings, sides, and other recipe components as assigned.

Follow recipe quantities, preparation methods, and quality standards.

Label, date, store, and rotate products correctly.

Check ingredients for freshness and communicate shortages or quality concerns.

Use knives, tools, and kitchen equipment safely.

Keep prep areas clean and follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Coordinate with line cooks and managers so ingredients are ready when needed.
