Business Development Manager – Federal in Remote at Akicita Federal, LLC

Akicita Federal, LLC is a growing 8(a) small business serving federal agencies. We're looking for a business development lead to expand into new agencies and service lines. We want someone with real relationships who also knows how to compete.

• Find and qualify new federal opportunities outside our core healthcare market
• Use your existing agency and contractor relationships to open doors
• Lead capture work and support high-volume proposal production
• Build teaming partnerships with other small businesses, including outreach to firms whose contracts or program eligibility are coming to an end
• Track the pipeline and report to leadership

• A track record in federal BD, capture, or account or contract management
• Existing relationships with agency buyers, program offices, or prime contractors. Tell us who you know.
• Experience with 8(a) and small business set-asides
• Energy and drive: you want to build something, not maintain it
• Comfortable using AI tools to move quickly
