Enjoy helping customers and working with numbers? Join Sauk Valley Bank as a part-time Teller. In this role, you’ll help customers with everyday banking transactions, build positive relationships, and connect customers with banking products and services that fit their needs.

What You’ll Do

• Process deposits, checks, withdrawals, cash advances, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
• Verify transaction documents, authorizations, and limits.
• Balance your cash drawer daily and process account activity using bank systems.
• Assist with night deposits, change orders, official checks, license plate stickers, savings bond redemptions, and hold orders.
• Answer customer questions and resolve routine concerns within your authority.
• Identify opportunities to introduce bank products and services and refer customers to the appropriate team members.
• Follow bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
• Work respectfully, uphold commitments, demonstrate integrity, and complete other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Intermediate math skills and the ability to count currency, coins, and negotiable instruments accurately and efficiently.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organization, time management, and routine problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, understand procedures, and work under direct supervision.
