Facilities Landscaper-ILMTS in Mount Sterling, Illinois at Dot Foods

Responsible for maintaining the professional appearance of landscaping around Dots facilities for the enjoyment of employees, partners, visitors, and candidates.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Maintain facilities grounds to ensure a clean and pleasant appearance
• Directs daily grounds work assignments of seasonal, part-time
• Mowing, edging, raking as well as other lawn maintenance
• Trim trees, shrubs, bushes, and replacing or any additions of landscaping
• Maintain sprinkler systems, water features, and all ground equipment according to manufacturers recommendations

• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
• 5+ years golf course or commercial landscaping management experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Equipment maintenance experience

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Bachelors degree in Landscape Management or equivalent experience
• Previous sprinkler system maintenance
• Proficient organization skills
• Proficient communication skills
• Previous safety orientated position

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM

• Working outside in all temperatures and working at heights.

• Regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
