Custodian TN-2nd Shift in Greeneville, Tennessee at JOST International Corp

INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Maintenance. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

CUSTODIAN – Performs functions associated with cleaning areas of the building and upkeep of grounds surrounding JOST International.

Shift: 6pm-2am

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

a) Cleaning front office areas, pods and bathrooms.

b) Cleaning shop floor, bathrooms, break room and employee entrance.

c) Run sweeper throughout facility

d) Refill soap and restock paper products

e) Maintain and inventory cleaning materials on a regular basis

f) Proper labeling of chemicals used with SDS

g) Proper use and disposal of chemicals used

h) Report to Supervisor any safety issues or repairs

i) Disposal of trash and cardboard

j) General clean-up of Patio and Pavilion

k) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

a) Perform all aspects of cleaning.

b) Prior Custodian/Janitorial experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

c) Prior experience and/or knowledge of sweepers/ floor scrubber

d) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work is generally performed in a production/warehouse/office/facilities environment 100% of time.

b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
