Schedule: Full-Time, Work Shift as Assigned with Overtime as Required

As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you’ll play a key role in supporting Mennel’s food safety and quality programs by conducting routine testing, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and helping ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine quality testing, sample analysis, and reporting for internal and external customers.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot testing equipment, maintain calibration records, and complete monthly intra-laboratory check samples.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, OSHA, GFSI, FSMA, and sanitation requirements while maintaining an audit-ready work environment and communicating quality or food safety concerns.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cereal Science, or a related field preferred.
• Previous laboratory, food manufacturing, quality assurance, or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to accurately document and report results.
