About Linkly

Linkly is a PE-backed, Australian fintech focusing on payment integration solutions. We are a leading provider in ecommerce recurring billing, and our middleware powers over 200,000 terminals and processes over two billion transactions annually. Our applications support over 800 integrations into POS solutions. We have built our reputation through seamless integration of payment terminals and POS systems and are continuing to innovate in creating a terminal and acquirer independent payment solicitor for in-store. Our clients include major banks and retailers such as Woolworths, David Jones, JB Hi-Fi, and Bunnings.

Our goal is to continuously lead the payments industry with new technology delivering value to clients, which who include merchants, banks, acquirers and POS vendors, expanding our presence into other regions.


About the Role

This is a high-impact, analyst-weighted commercial role with genuine ownership of a client portfolio. The role is an exciting mix between driving commercial insights from Linkly’s data and account management. Over time this role will become a trusted commercial contact for a portfolio of significant clients and partners, helping to deepen and grow those relationships.

It will suit a sharp, commercially minded analyst who thrives on deriving and communicating actionable insights from data and wants real exposure to clients and senior decision-makers.

You will help power the payments behind some of Australia's most recognised retailers and banks, taking meaningful ownership in a role that sits close to data, clients and senior leadership. It is a rare chance to make your mark on the commercial decisions that shape our products, with the energy and innovation of a startup backed by the stability of an established, PE-backed business of around 120 people.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial analysis

  • Commercial modelling and data analysis: Build and maintain pricing, performance and profitability models across products to surface trends and support decisions and proposals.
  • Reporting and dashboards: Produce regular reporting and dashboards on revenue, client performance and key commercial metrics for leadership and the wider business.
  • Commercial support: Provide data-driven insight to support contract renewals, commercial proposals and pricing reviews.
  • Finance partnering: Work with finance on budgeting, variance analysis and the integrity of commercial reporting.
Account management
  • Client portfolio: Act as a commercial point of contact for a portfolio of clients and partners, including banks, retailers and POS vendors.
  • Account reviews: Prepare account performance reviews and support quarterly business reviews with clear, data-led narratives.
  • Relationship growth: Support client onboarding and help grow and retain relationships over time.
  • Cross-functional delivery: Work with account management, partnerships, product and delivery teams to resolve commercial queries and keep client records, renewal timelines and commercial terms accurate.
  • Client Oversight: Comfortable generating governance and compliance initiatives, and working to automate these where possible.



What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial analyst, FP&A, pricing, Professional Services, or data-focused commercial role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced Excel and experience building and maintaining commercial or financial models and translating data into clear business recommendations.
  • Experience working on visual presentations in PowerPoint, with strong attention to structure, storytelling, and visual presentation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate insight to both senior internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and continuing to learn and upskill in AI.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a scale-up environment.
Nice to have
  • Prior client-facing or account management experience in payments, fintech or financial services.
  • Exposure to recurring billing, subscription or SaaS-style commercial metrics.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker, or comfortable learning.
