This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Humanities / Arts / Culture Evaluator based in India.

This contract opportunity is designed for experienced professionals with deep expertise across the humanities, arts, or cultural fields who want to contribute their knowledge to the development of advanced AI systems. You will evaluate AI-generated content against subject-specific quality standards, assessing accuracy, relevance, clarity, and overall quality. Your expertise will help identify factual, contextual, aesthetic, and presentation issues that may otherwise be overlooked by automated systems. You will review a range of professional artifacts, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, and provide structured feedback to improve model outputs. The role offers the opportunity to apply your academic or professional knowledge to emerging AI technologies while working independently in a flexible environment. Your evaluations will contribute directly to improving the quality and reliability of AI-generated content across humanities, arts, and cultural contexts.

• Evaluate AI-generated artifacts against established, domain-specific quality rubrics for humanities, arts, and cultural content.
• Review documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials for factual accuracy, contextual relevance, clarity, and overall quality.
• Identify factual inaccuracies, cultural or contextual misunderstandings, aesthetic issues, inconsistencies, and presentation errors.
• Apply specialist knowledge to assess whether AI-generated content demonstrates appropriate depth, nuance, accuracy, and cultural awareness.
• Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback to support the improvement of AI-generated outputs.
• Assess content objectively while applying evaluation criteria consistently across different assignments and subject areas.
• Identify subtle issues that may require specialist humanities, artistic, historical, cultural, or contextual knowledge.
• Collaborate with AI research teams and other subject-matter experts to improve training data quality and evaluation standards.
• Work independently and asynchronously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and meeting project deadlines.
• Use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Google Slides, to review and evaluate generated materials.

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in humanities, arts, culture, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated subject-matter expertise with the ability to assess complex content using professional or academic knowledge.
• Native or professional fluency in English, with excellent written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to identify factual, contextual, logical, and presentation-related issues.
• Ability to evaluate content objectively while recognizing nuance, cultural context, artistic quality, and discipline-specific standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to reviewing and assessing complex materials.
• Ability to provide clear, structured, and constructive written feedback.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Google Slides.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated content, training data, educational materials, research outputs, or other knowledge-based content is a plus.
• An advanced degree (Master’s or higher) from a reputable institution is preferred.
