Lead Sr. Software Engineer | Kaunas in Kaunas at WISE INTEGRATION

The Lead Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using JavaScript. This includes working with technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJs, Front-End Frameworks, databases and messaging systems. The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development are essential for this role. Good knowledge of DDD design patterns, CQRS, and Clean Architecture is mandatory. They will also be able to collaborate with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software on time. Team leadership skills are required: technical or of a managerial type.

• Participating in, leading, and scheduling agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
• Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Developing and maintaining front-end web components using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Designing and developing software using Node.js, GraphQL, and/or alternative JavaScript frameworks and middleware.
• Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
• Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
• Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
• Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.

• +6 years of work experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, HTML/CSS, SQL.
• Team leadership skills: technical or managerial type.
• CI/CD Pipelines, Message Brokers, ORM, GraphQL.
• Special kudos points for knowledge of vanilla JavaScript, V8, WebAssembly, and others.
