About the Role:

The Food & Beverage Lead at Starbucks in Canada plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by overseeing daily food and beverage operations. This position is responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality products while maintaining Starbucks' standards of excellence and safety. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory or lead role, preferably within a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards applicable in Canada.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and engage a diverse team.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within Starbucks or a similar branded coffee or food service environment.
  • Certification in food safety or related hospitality training.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Familiarity with Canadian labor laws and workplace safety regulations.
  • Bilingual abilities in English and French are an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily food and beverage preparation and service to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors to maintain stock availability.
