Position Summary
As an Express Service Advisor at First Team Toyota, you'll assist customers in the Service Lane while building a lasting relationship based on trust, professionalism, and exceptional service. You'll work with one of Hampton Roads' premier automotive organizations, representing industry-leading brands, a strong inventory, and a dealership group committed to your success. Compensation / Good Faith Pay Range
- Base compensation: $30,000 to $50,000 per year
- Commission incentives paid under the dealership's compensation plan
What You'll Do
- Meet and greet customers in the Service Lane
- Engage customers at their vehicle in order to efficiently and effectively check the customer's vehicle into the Service Department
- Establish and maintain exceptional working relationship with customers and technicians
- Coordinates all service and repair work with team leader to achieve completion times
- Provides a professional level of communication with each customer and ensures that all completion times are met
- Provides solutions for each customer, including repair options, alternative transportation and needed repairs
- Offers a multi-point inspection to each customer and is comfortable selling additional repairs or services recommended by technician
- Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner with each customer
What You'll Bring
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Previous dealership or automotive sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule
- Ability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
