Position Summary
Sentry Force Security is seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. The Security Officer will monitor the facility, assist with maintaining order, and respond appropriately to safety concerns while interacting respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff.

• Monitor the facility, entrances, exits, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
• Observe and report unusual, suspicious, or disruptive activity.
• Assist staff with maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances, emergencies, and safety concerns.
• Monitor patient and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures.
• Verify authorized individuals entering restricted areas.
• Conduct routine patrols of designated areas.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Contact emergency services when necessary and follow established emergency procedures.
• De-escalate tense situations using professional communication and sound judgment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with patients and sensitive situations.
• Work closely with facility staff and management to address security concerns.
• Follow all company and facility policies, procedures, and post orders.

• Previous security, healthcare, customer service, or public-facing experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with a diverse population.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Must meet all applicable Virginia security licensing requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain attentive for extended periods.
