This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Manager NA based in United States.
This role is focused on managing strategic and enterprise customer relationships across North America. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior and C-level stakeholders, building partnerships that support retention, growth, and long-term value. The position combines account strategy, commercial negotiation, revenue expansion, forecasting, and customer success. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, and Operations to resolve complex business and technical challenges. A strong understanding of payment infrastructure and technology will help you anticipate customer needs and identify new opportunities. This is a high-ownership role in a fast-paced, international environment where your work can directly contribute to global growth.
Own strategic relationships with enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for C-level stakeholders.
Develop and execute account strategies based on portfolio segmentation, adapting engagement and commercial approaches across strategic, growth, and transactional accounts.
Lead commercial negotiations covering renewals, pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements, using value-based negotiation and quantified business cases.
Drive revenue expansion through upselling and cross-selling while developing a high-quality pipeline of opportunities across the account portfolio.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and account planning, proactively identifying revenue risks and growth opportunities.
Monitor account health indicators, including NPS and client referenceability, and address potential concerns before they affect customer satisfaction.
Analyze customer profitability and develop strategies to protect margins while managing pricing and discounting decisions.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, and Operations to resolve complex technical and operational issues at the executive level.
Gather customer feedback and translate insights into opportunities for product and service improvements.
Stay informed about payment industry developments and emerging trends to anticipate customer needs and market opportunities.
Mentor junior Key Account Managers and peers and contribute to strategic account review forums.
3–4 years of B2B experience in Key Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise Relationship Management.
Professional experience within payments, fintech, technology, or a closely related industry.
Proven ability to build relationships with and influence C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in value-based commercial negotiation, business case development and quantification, contract renewals, and account portfolio segmentation.
Strong command of revenue forecasting, pipeline development, and complex portfolio management, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to combine strategic customer empathy with sufficient technical understanding of payment infrastructure to address executive-level client challenges.
Strong commercial, analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
High ownership and accountability, with a demonstrated ability to drive initiatives through completion.
Comfortable operating in fast-paced and ambiguous environments where priorities can evolve quickly.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and maintain strong alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
