Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Network Engineer/Architect to support the design, setup, and operationalization of the cloud and network infrastructure required for a production-grade AI Voicebot solution built on Microsoft Azure.
The consultant will work closely with AI engineers, platform teams, security specialists, and enterprise architects to establish a secure, scalable, and resilient foundation for real-time voice and generative AI services.
Key responsibilities:- Design and implement the cloud architecture required to support AI and voice services on Azure.
- Configure network connectivity between Azure services, enterprise systems, APIs, and customer-facing channels.
- Set up and manage Private Endpoints, Private Link, VNET integration, DNS configuration, and secure service-to-service communication.
- Design secure connectivity patterns for Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Speech Services, Microsoft Foundry, and related Azure services.
- Configure load balancing, traffic routing, API exposure, and networking components supporting real-time voice communication.
- Support implementation of WebSocket-based and low-latency communication patterns required for voice interactions.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities across the platform.
- Ensure platform resilience, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery considerations are addressed.
- Collaborate with security and risk teams to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, performance, and infrastructure-related issues during implementation and production rollout.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Deep expertise in Azure networking, including VNETs, NSGs, Private Link, ExpressRoute, VPN connectivity, DNS, and firewall configurations.
- Experience implementing secure cloud architectures for customer-facing applications and APIs.
- Experience supporting AI and data platforms within Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of network security, identity management, authentication, and authorization patterns.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and operational monitoring frameworks.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex networking and cloud infrastructure challenges.
- Experience supporting real-time communication platforms, voice applications, telephony integrations, or contact center technologies.
- Familiarity with WebSocket architectures, streaming APIs, and low-latency application design.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Speech Services, and Microsoft Foundry environments.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or financial services.
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, zero-trust principles, and cloud governance practices.
- Experience supporting GenAI and agent-based AI platforms in production.
The consultant will establish a secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready cloud and network foundation that enables the deployment and operation of a voice-enabled AI Assistant. This includes ensuring reliable connectivity between Microsoft Foundry, Voice Live API, Azure AI services, internal systems, and customer channels while meeting performance, security, and compliance requirements.
Location preferences: Onsite: Copenhagen, Denmark (preferred) Remote: EU, EEA, or UK-based resources only (secondary preference).
