HTI is hiring experienced Production Supervisors for a growing manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, SC! This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the production floor, developing employees, and driving results.

With continued growth and new business, our client is expanding its leadership team to provide additional support across second and third shifts. We're looking for supervisors who can take ownership of their shifts, hold teams accountable, and help improve overall production performance.

What Your Role Looks Like

• Lead daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and production targets are consistently met.

• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor, providing direction, coaching, and support to production employees.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), production rates, and overall shift performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Coordinate staffing, labor allocation, and production priorities to meet operational demands.

• Train, coach, and develop employees and team leads, with a focus on improving performance, quality, and accountability.

• Establish clear expectations and consistently enforce company policies, attendance standards, and workplace procedures.

• Work closely with maintenance, tool and die, and other departments to address equipment downtime, coordinate changeovers, and minimize production disruptions.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and implement lean manufacturing practices.

• Support positive employee relations while maintaining consistent expectations and adherence to company policies and applicable union agreements.

• Handle day-to-day employee concerns, make sound decisions, and resolve issues independently when needed.

What You Need

• 3–5+ years of production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience directly managing production employees and holding teams accountable for performance.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, production efficiency, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

• Experience with employee coaching, training, performance management, and policy enforcement.

• Ability to lead independently, make decisions, and address challenges in a fast-paced production environment.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Comfortable spending the majority of the shift on the production floor.

• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal stamping, steel processing, metal fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience working in a union manufacturing facility.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Associate's or bachelor's degree.

Available Shifts

2nd Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM

3rd Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend coverage may be required on a rotating basis, with an additional $500 paid for each weekend worked.
