Excelity is a Test Engineer for a project responsible for building the next generation Mission Integration System for an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects. Required Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR A PhD; An additional 9 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• Knowledge and experience with backend software testing
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman
• Experience documenting test plans/procedures.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing automated software testing scripts
• Experience in an Agile software development environment utilizing Java or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• Software development experience in a virtual environment like AWS
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and Gitlab
