Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic

Work hours: Full Time Days M-F 8a - 4:30p

Heres What You Need
Associate degree or Nursing Diploma required.
BSN preferred.
One-year experience as a registered nurse.
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
Current BLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
Experience in outpatient wound care setting (preferred) and/or inpatient wound care
CHRN - Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse 12 Months Pref Or
CWCN - Certified Wound Care Nurse 12 Months Pref Or
CWON - Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse 12 Months Pref Or
CWOCN - Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse 12 Months Pref
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
R esponsible for delivery of wound care in an outpatient setting.
Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.
Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.
Patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.
Utilizes evidence-based practice to a dminister wound care services.
