Job Description

Senior Biologics Coordinator

AllerVie Health | Full-Time

Keep patients on the therapy that changes their lives.

For patients with severe allergy, asthma, and immunology conditions, biologics can be life-changing, but only if they get the drug on time without gaps in coverage. As our Senior Biologics Coordinator, you’ll be the expert who makes that happen across multiple locations. You’ll oversee both in-office (buy and bill) and specialty pharmacy pathways, lead prior authorizations and benefits work, and guide a team of Biologics Coordinators and Assistants. You’ll also partner with revenue cycle, pharmacy partners, and clinical staff to keep patients on therapy and in the right care setting.

What You’ll Do
  • Own biologics stewardship for patients on Xolair, Nucala, Fasenra, Tezspire, and Exdensur, ensuring continuity of therapy at your assigned locations
  • Oversee specialty pharmacy patients: new starts, transfers, and time to therapy, and serve as the escalation point for pharmacy partners
  • Drive buy and bill conversion: review patients at renewals and denials, lead benefits investigations, and coordinate smooth transitions from specialty pharmacy to in-office administration
  • Lead prior authorizations: manage renewals, review complex denials and appeals, and guide the team on next steps
  • Partner with revenue cycle to monitor claims, resolve escalations, and prepare monthly reporting
  • Manage inventory and ordering to match scheduled patients
  • Lead and train the team: serve as the go-to resource for Coordinators and Assistants, run chart audits, and present metrics at weekly team meetings
  • Steward IVIG/SCIG patients through Lux Infusion, supporting long-term infusion clinic planning
  • Travel to assigned locations as needed [~X%]
What You Bring
  • Clinical or revenue cycle experience with medical prior authorizations (required)
  • PACS certification or 2+ years of prior authorization experience
  • 2+ years in a biologics coordinator role or equivalent, with experience in both buy and bill and specialty pharmacy workflows
  • Strong understanding of buy and bill reimbursement, specialty pharmacy operations, and biologics billing
  • Experience with IVIG/SCIG or infusion therapy management a plus
  • Experience training or leading a team preferred
  • Analytical, organized, and comfortable managing a multi-location patient population
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder, internally and externally
Why AllerVie
  • A mission you can feel: every patient you keep on therapy gets closer to relief
  • A senior seat with real impact: shape how biologics care is delivered and help build our infusion capabilities
  • Medical, dental & vision; employer HSA contribution; employer-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match; generous PTO and paid holidays
