Beacon Health System is hosting an in-person hiring event for our Surgical positions on Wednesday, October 28th from 9a-5pm in the lobby of Beacon Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. Candidates will meet hiring leaders, learn about our units and departments, interview and potential offers on site. Walk-ins welcome!

What You'll Do
Surgical Responsibilities
- Performs procedures and exams within scope of practice, following department protocols.
- Prepares patients, equipment, and procedure areas, and maintains a clean, safe environment.
- Ensures quality and accuracy of images, procedures, or processed instruments.
- Follows safety, infection prevention, and radiation safety guidelines as applicable.
- Communicates with providers, nurses, and team members to keep procedures on schedule.
- Documents procedures accurately and on time.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Surgical: Completion of an accredited program in the applicable field. Registry or certification required or eligible as applicable by department. Experience requirements vary by position.
