IVORY PROPERTY RESTORATION WATER MITIGATION TECHNICIAN
Position: Water Mitigation Technician
Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Full-time | Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to serve as a working technician on residential and commercial restoration projects. In this role, you will be the face of our company on-site, directing crews, communicating with customers and insurers, and ensuring every job is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the on-site working technician for residential and commercial restoration projects
• Perform water extraction and fire mitigation services
• Set up staging areas and prepare rooms for restoration activities
• Perform demolition and general clean-up tasks
• Complete heavy cleaning duties including floors, walls, glass, and debris removal
• Set drying equipment and complete thorough moisture mapping
• Accurately track and document all time and materials charged to each project
• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and insurance representatives
• Complete all required job documentation forms accurately and in full
• Maintain warehouse organization, stock supplies, and assist with building maintenance
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service calls
• Available and willing to travel out of state for storm and hurricane response work
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the restoration industry
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, stooping, bending, kneeling, and working in hot, cold, and humid conditions
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office, Docusign, Zoom, and similar software
• Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls
• Willingness to travel out of state for storm and hurricane response work
• Valid IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• IICRC Certification(s), specifically ASD (Applied Structural Drying)
• DASH/MITIGATE software experience along with Docusketch

•Hourly rate: $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience
