About the PositionServers are an important part of the Mira Vista member experience. In this role, you will provide friendly, attentive food and beverage service while getting to know our members and helping create the welcoming atmosphere they expect when they visit the Club.
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service, and can stay organized and positive in a busy dining environment.
What You'll Do- Welcome members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Answer questions about menu items and communicate specials.
- Make thoughtful menu recommendations when appropriate.
- Enter orders accurately into the Club's point-of-sale system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check in throughout the dining experience and respond to member needs.
- Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas.
- Clear and reset tables as needed.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
- Communicate closely with culinary staff, bartenders, support staff, and other Servers.
- Assist teammates during busy periods to help service run smoothly.
- Address service concerns professionally and involve a supervisor when appropriate.
- Follow Club standards for hospitality, safety, appearance, and responsible alcohol service.

Previous restaurant, serving, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred, but country-club experience is not required.

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must obtain and maintain required TABC certification.
- Ability to learn and use a computerized point-of-sale system.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to safely carry trays, dishes, beverages, and other service items.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
