Owners Representative with Electrical Experience in Cordova, Illinois at Advantage Point Group

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add an Owners Representative with Electrical experience for a position at an industrial plant in Cordova, IL to monitor electrical contractors and enforce that all wiring, switches, and electrical devices are installed in accordance with project design documents, applicable codes, and have the proper electrical rating for the space in which each device is installed.

Responsibilities
As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract. You will oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.

Requirements

• 12 years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
• Strong electrical construction experience in the light or heavy manufacturing industry
• Strong experience with electrical classified environment (Class 1, Division 1)
• Well versed in the National Electric Code (NEC)
• Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Start ASAP.
• Day shift,8-12 hour days. Weekend work is minimum.
• Duration: Nov 12, 2026 to June 2027.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $55-$65 per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• Overtime paid at time and a half paid for over 40 hours per week.
