Position Summary
Commissionaires Security Solutions (CVIY) is looking for a Central Island Client Services Manager to lead our Operations Teams from north of the Malahat to Qualicum.

The Role
Based in our new Nanaimo office, the Central Island Client Services Manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is part of the Operational Leadership Team. The successful person will lead the Operations team by nurturing existing client relationships and creating innovative solutions to meet clients’ needs and drive revenue growth. This role will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to help grow the business in these areas. This important role will help develop the organization’s strategic partnerships while aligning with CVIY’s Strategic Business Plan and corporate objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire our teams.
- Passion for the customer and will lead customer relations in the region with the support of the team.
- Conduct area assessments to get intelligence on opportunities and competitive activity.
- Liaise with Chief Growth Officer on the implementation of CVIY’s strategic, marketing & communications and plans.
- Implement new business opportunities, contribute to Requests for Proposals, contract renewals and new contract development.
- Positively contribute to the organizational culture, values and reputation in all CVIY markets and with all team members, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
- Ensure business activities are in accordance with CVIY’s social mandate and business plan goals
- Perform best practices, offer expertise and product/service knowledge and delivery to ensure optimal business opportunities.
- Help raise the visibility of Commissionaires in the region in the business community and amongst the public.
- Develop strong business relationships to best manage existing contracts and attract new clients
- Remain current on new security services, best practices and emerging technology that will “add value” to clients.
- Know the competition and strive to position Commissionaires as the preferred security solutions company.
- Work with CVIY recruiters; communicate staffing needs and oversee the assignment of guards to client sites.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of inspirational leadership.
- University Degree in Business or Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 7 years of related management experience in the security industry (preferred).
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Strategic thinker.
- A strong work ethic.
- A team player and self-starter with a positive attitude
- Solid business acumen.
- Interest and appreciation in our social mandate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel within the region and occasionally to Victoria.
