The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager - BI Analytics & Applied AI, the Analytics & AI Solutions Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and adoption of enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on Power BI development, semantic modeling, business engagement, data visualization, and analytics solution delivery.
The role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the BI team, translating business requirements into scalable reporting, dashboard, and AI solutions while ensuring strong user adoption, business value realization, and adherence to BI standards. The role works closely with the Data Architect & Fabric Platform Lead to leverage enterprise data assets and deliver modern analytics capabilities.
What you get to do:
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytics solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Operations to gather requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, UAT activities, stakeholder reviews, and solution demonstrations.
- Design, optimize, and govern semantic models, measures, calculations, hierarchies, and KPIs to support enterprise reporting requirements.
- Develop advanced DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, M Query logic, and analytical data models.
- Design and optimize Direct Lake, Import, Aggregation, and Star Schema models to maximize report performance and scalability.
- Define Power BI standards, visualization best practices, KPI frameworks, report design standards, and data storytelling principles.
- Monitor report usage, performance, adoption, and business value realization while continuously improving existing solutions.
- Drive self-service analytics capabilities through training, governance, and user enablement.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to ensure reporting solutions are supported by trusted, scalable, and governed data assets.
- Utilize SQL, Python, and modern analytics tools to automate reporting processes and solve complex business problems.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop AI use cases across reporting, forecasting, operational insights, and decision support.
- Identify, design, and deliver AI, Generative AI, Copilot, predictive analysis, and intelligent automation solutions that improve business processes and decision-making.
- Design AI-ready and Copilot-ready datasets, semantic models, and analytics solutions that support future AI initiatives.
- Design solutions that integrate AI capabilities with Dynamics 365, CRM, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Power BI, Dataverse, and other enterprise systems.
- Support Business Process Automation (BPA) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives by leveraging analytics, AI, and Microsoft platform capabilities.
- Establish standards for AI solution lifecycle management, deployment, governance, and environment management.
- Provide technical mentoring, solution guidance, and best-practice leadership to BI Developers and Analysts.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline, equivalent.
- 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, Data Visualization, or Analytics Solution Delivery.
- 3-5 years leading analytics initiatives, BI projects, or business-facing solution delivery
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, Data Visualization, or Analytics Solution Delivery.
- 3+ years leading analytics initiatives, BI projects, or business-facing solution delivery.
- Proven experience developing enterprise-scale Power BI solutions and semantic models.
- Experience managing end-to-end analytics solution delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and adoption.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
- Experience within Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, or ERP-driven environments is strongly preferred.
- Advanced hands-on Power BI expertise, including report development, dashboard design, semantic models, DAX, Power Query, M Query, Row-Level Security, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in semantic model design, KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, operational reporting, analytical solutions, and data storytelling.
- Strong understanding of star schema design, import models, Direct Lake, aggregations, and scalable reporting model patterns.
- Strong understanding of user experience design, visualization best practices, and effective presentation of business insights.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric analytics capabilities and ecosystem integration.
- Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
- Strong hands-on Python skills for analytics automation, data preparation, advanced analytics, and AI-related solution development.
- Experience preparing, transforming, validating, and visualizing data for enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, master data management, and reporting controls.
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Copilot, Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and modern AI architectures.
- Experience designing AI-enabled business solutions using Microsoft AI, Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems including Dynamics 365, CRM platforms, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Outlook, Email, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of Business Process Automation (BPA), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and workflow automation principles.
- Experience supporting AI solution lifecycle management, source control, CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion, and deployment governance.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile delivery practices, and solution lifecycle management.
- Understanding of ERP concepts and practical experience with Dynamics 365 and/or CRM is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.

- The hiring range for this role is $132,000 - $140,000.
