Arbour Specialty is looking for a motivated Marketing Representative to join our sales team. This entry-level role blends sales and marketing, and it comes with a 24-month training and development program built to make you a top insurance sales professional. You’ll meet with independent retail agencies, show them our web and phone quoting systems, and help bring in new submissions, quotes and premium. What You’ll Do

As a Marketing Representative, you’ll grow new business by getting more retail agents using our quoting platforms. You’ll spend most of your time with customers, and you’ll work closely with your Regional Sales Manager on strategy, tactics and follow-up.

Key responsibilities include:

• Holding at least 20 customer meetings a week, in person or by video, to demonstrate our web and phone quoting tools and sign up new users
• Prospecting regularly and setting meetings with new agencies, and with current agencies that haven’t reached their potential
• Finding and building relationships with the key decision-makers in each retail agency
• Following up promptly and staying in regular contact with customers and prospects to uncover more opportunities
• Reviewing web activity with your team to spot positive and negative trends, and acting on them right away
• Reporting each week on the meetings you held and the meetings you’ve scheduled for the coming weeks
• Working closely with your Regional Sales Manager on sales issues, travel and follow-up
• Earning continuing education credits and insurance designations/licenses through self-study, as set out in your training and development plan

Travel & Work Environment

This is a field-based role, not a work-from-home position. About 80% of your time will be spent meeting with customers. The role includes local travel to prospects, clients and networking events, may include overnight travel, and includes annual training conferences in Pennsylvania. You’ll be encouraged to take part in industry associations and conferences to grow your network and your knowledge of the industry.

• College degree or equivalent business experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Natural networking and relationship-building ability
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and composure with a heavy workload and tight deadlines
• Openness to coaching and continuous improvement
• Commitment to earning insurance licenses and designations through self-study
