The SunnyBrook Ballroom is one of the few remaining dance halls of the pre-World War II era still in existence. During the big band era of the 1930’s and 1940’s the ballroom rose to prominence as one of the country’s great dance floors. At SunnyBrook we strive to give our guests a most memorable experience and look for extraordinary people to provide that service.

Responsible for supporting the Executive Chef to ensure menu items are executed with excellence in the kitchen. Responsible for the daily smooth flow of food preparation that facilitates timely delivery, ensuring that the quality of all food produced consistently meets the targeted highest standard.

This position is very hands-on in nature, one that requires the individual to direct kitchen activities, be an active participant in preparation, cooking line responsibility and serving as an expediter as is necessary.

$18.00 an hour

The successful candidate will have skills that can withstand the pressure of busy service. Proven success as a line or prep cook. Including:

· At least three years of diversified kitchen in restaurant or hospitality industry experience. Training available.

· Passion for food and commitment to customer service

· Proven ability to work within a team

· Organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast pace multitasking work environment

· Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
