Pantry Cook in Rochester, Michigan at Kruse and Muer Restaurants

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pantry Cook to join our culinary team! This position is responsible for preparing salads, appetizers, desserts, cold plates, and other pantry items while ensuring exceptional presentation, quality, and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare salads, appetizers, desserts, and other pantry menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Ensure all dishes are properly portioned, garnished, and presented
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pantry station
• Assist with daily food preparation and ingredient setup
• Communicate effectively with chefs, expediters, and fellow kitchen team members
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned
• Rotate and restock food products

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation standards
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety practices
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
