Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Study, understand, and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, job travelers, facility procedures, and parts list
- Operating automatic equipment or hand solder for surface mount and mixed-technology boards
- Visually inspecting printed circuit boards for defects
- Report assembly, equipment, material, and/or quality problems to Manager to obtain additional resources or direction
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed
- Align, fit and assemble component parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, microscopes and soldering equipment.
- Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures
- Other tasks as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
- Experience in assembling printed circuit boards and/or surface mount
- Skilled at identifying components via component identification and color codes
- Ability to read and interrupt schematics and assembly documents
- Performing automated and manual testing of PCB’s
- Oral and written communication skills for a team environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance
- Detail oriented, organized, analytical Hand soldering
- Knowledge of through hole and surface mount technology required
- Experience with QUAD Pick & Place machines a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent
