SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Production Coordinator.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP's Production Operations Business Area is currently seeking a Production Coordinator I. The Production Coordinator will plan, schedule, implement, and monitor production activities, ensuring contract requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviews contract specifications, drawings, sales orders, and other project documents to understand requirements.
  • Schedules and coordinates work with and of appropriate department staff so that projects are completed in a timely and
    efficient manner.
  • Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies.
  • Drafts, develops, and implements cost-effective manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure that production is within applicable standards.
  • Coordinates hardware testing with quality assurance staff.
    Prepares workforce projections and budget estimates based on a summary of labor hours and material costs for each
  • job.
  • Identifies requirements for packaging and shipping.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma/GED or College education in lieu of warehousing and/or production operations experience.

Experience: 1 year of relevant warehousing and/or production operations experience.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Warehouse - Standing and walking for extended periods of time. Significant use of material moving equipment, which includes climbing onto and off of equipment, turning head to visually see area around equipment, using hands and feet to safely control equipment. Significant lifting of <40 lbs.; occasional lifting >40 lbs. Significant use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as viewing computer screens. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in variable environmental conditions heavily influenced by weather and proximity to shipping doors. Work is also impacted by dust, noise and constant activity associated with the movements of materials and people. Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes are required; hearing protection and safety glasses are recommended.
