This role is a key strategic HR partnership position within a fully remote, global organization focused on building an inclusive, human-centered culture. You will work closely with business leaders to shape and execute impactful people strategies that support performance, engagement, and organizational health. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will act as a strategic People Partner supporting leaders and teams across a distributed, remote-first organization, ensuring strong alignment between business goals and people strategies. You will contribute to shaping organizational culture, supporting employee experience, and driving consistency across core HR processes.

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support cyclical HR programs including performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement surveys, and talent planning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, investigations, accommodations, and complex people matters.
  • Guide leaders through change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and team alignment.
  • Collaborate with the broader People team to analyze workforce data and identify trends to improve organizational health.
  • Champion DEIB initiatives and ensure inclusive practices across hiring, development, and retention processes.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders at all levels, from managers to senior executives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices in a global, remote-first environment.
Requirements:

This role requires strong HR business partnering experience combined with a deep understanding of employee relations, organizational dynamics, and global HR practices. You bring a proactive, empathetic, and analytical approach, with the ability to influence and support leaders across distributed teams.

  • Strong knowledge of US and Canadian employment law and HR compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in HR business partnering, employee relations, or organizational development roles.
  • Familiarity with EOR and/or PEO models is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in a remote and global context.
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to advocate for diverse perspectives.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ethical judgment, transparency, and ability to handle sensitive employee matters.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, remote-first or distributed environments.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible working hours.
  • Unlimited paid time off to support rest, balance, and well-being.
  • Home office setup budget to support remote productivity.
  • Learning and development budget for continuous growth.
  • Access to mental health support and on-demand therapy resources.
  • Opportunities for in-person team meetups and collaboration sessions.
  • Transparent and equitable compensation philosophy.
  • Competitive salary range of approximately $80,000 – $105,000 USD depending on experience and location.
  • Inclusive, progressive culture focused on DEIB, openness, and psychological safety.
  • Strong emphasis on autonomy, trust, and sustainable work practices to avoid burnout.
