About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Transportation and Warehousing industry. As a Customer Service Rep, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our transportation services. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates on their shipments. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service and support, and that their transportation needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in customer service or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Resolving issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all client interactions and transactions
Skills:
As a Customer Service Rep in the Transportation and Warehousing industry, you will utilize your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills on a daily basis. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. You will also need to be able to analyze and resolve complex issues, often under tight deadlines. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software will be essential to your success in this role.
