Summary: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the Distribution Center in accordance with company standards, safety regulations, and housekeeping policies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Standard work hours: Both AM and PM shifts available Monday-Friday.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr up to $21.50
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of warehouse areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, docks, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors; clean spills promptly to maintain a safe work environment.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and waste materials; empty and clean waste containers.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors; restock supplies as needed.
- Clean walls, windows, doors, railings, and other facility surfaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, wet/dry vacuums, and pressure washers.
- Safely handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with Hazard Communication and Safety policies.
- Adhere to the Distribution Center Housekeeping and Safety Policies at all times.
- Follow all safety rules, including use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervision promptly.
- Support special cleaning projects as assigned, including deep cleaning, audits, or inspections.

- Ability to follow cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and consistency in completing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of general cleaning practices; familiarity with industrial/warehouse cleaning preferred.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write legibly. The ability to successfully communicate with the voice picking system. Adapt to understanding the voice system’s commands, as well as adapting your speech so that the voice system can understand your input.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

The employee is frequently required to lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to move heavy product in excess of 1,000 pounds with moving aids designed to move such items including hand trucks, dollies, motorized cart, pallet jacks, etc.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
