Regional Sales Director, Industrial Water Treatment

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President of Projects Aftermarket Services in United States.

This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and scale complex project delivery operations within a fast-growing industrial automation and supply chain environment. The position oversees large-scale project execution across automation, robotics, warehouse systems, and integrated technologies, ensuring operational excellence from estimation through installation and customer acceptance. Working in a highly collaborative and innovation-driven setting, this role plays a key part in driving profitability, customer satisfaction, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, strengthen project governance, and champion continuous improvement initiatives across multiple regions and customer programs. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and develop the Project Management, Estimating, and Installation organizations, ensuring operational alignment, execution excellence, and strong financial performance across multiple customer programs and regions.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of complex automation and material handling projects, including robotics, ASRS, conveyor systems, controls integration, and warehouse automation solutions.
  • Establish and optimize project governance frameworks, KPI reporting structures, forecasting processes, risk management strategies, and stage-gate review methodologies.
  • Drive project profitability by improving estimating accuracy, labor productivity, margin performance, contract execution, forecasting reliability, and change order management.
  • Lead all field installation and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, quality expectations, and customer commitments.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Support teams to align execution capabilities with company growth objectives and customer expectations.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, develop succession plans, and foster a culture centered on accountability, operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen scalability, execution consistency, and long-term business performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience managing engineering, project portfolios, or large technical teams in industrial, engineering, automation, or construction environments.
  • Strong background in project management for large-scale automation, material handling, robotics, or integrated systems projects, preferably exceeding $10M in value.
  • Deep technical understanding of engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, structural, and controls systems, with knowledge of warehouse automation technologies considered a strong advantage.
  • Proven expertise in project portfolio management, installation operations, strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities with demonstrated success building high-performing organizations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complexity and drive results in dynamic project environments.
  • Strong proficiency with project collaboration tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30–50% as required.
