  • Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, accelerators, and modern data engineering methodologies.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps/DataOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Support pre-sales activities, technical proposals, and the strategic growth of the data engineering practice.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance, and regulatory standards such as GDPR.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering roles, including leadership of complex technical projects and engineering teams.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark.
  • Extensive experience with Azure, Databricks, and modern enterprise cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, lakehouse architectures, and modern data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with orchestration and workflow tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, quality management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing environments is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with modern analytics stacks, MLOps, or machine learning pipelines is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary package with flexible working arrangements.
  • Hybrid work model with the option to work remotely or from a modern office space in Amsterdam.
  • Opportunity to work on international and high-impact transformation projects across multiple industries.
  • Fast-paced and collaborative environment with strong career growth opportunities.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge cloud, analytics, and data engineering technologies.
  • Continuous learning and professional development within a highly skilled international team.
  • High level of autonomy, ownership, and creative freedom in shaping technical solutions.
